Meet the team

Oak Mount Dental Surgery was established in 1955 by Mr Eric Blakeney. Dr Ranjit Lall joined the practice as an associate dentist in 1974 and went on to take over the business as principal dentist in 1998. Mr Chris Ibbott joined the practice as an associate dentist in 2003.

Dr Ranjit Lall BDS graduated from Manchester University in 1973. After a year’s house job at Manchester Dental Hospital she joined Oak Mount in 1974. Since then, Dr Lall has been practicing quality dentistry, and with regular postgraduate courses she has developed a special interest in cosmetic dentistry including bleaching, veneers, crowns, bridgework and implants. Dr Lall is also interested in the treatment of nervous patients.

Dr Chris Ibbott BDS graduated from Sheffield University in 1997 and has since worked full time in general dental practice. Chris has a special interest in restorative dentistry and has undertaken several full-year postgraduate study programmes on the subject. This year Chris has been focusing on the study of occlusion and the possible links between the teeth, jaw joint system and muscular pain and headaches.
